Hi All

Another great days racing is planned for the Saturday 21st October.  This is open to all PPV members, please sign-on using the RiderHQ form https://www.riderhq.com/events/75562/ppv-race-day , entry closes Wednesday 18th October 5pm.  Sign-on will open at 8:45 and racing starts 9:15.  We have the track until 14:30 so this is the latest the event will finish, it could finish earlier depending on how many riders sign-up.

For our many new members this is an opportunity to get your first taste of a track race day within the friendly confines of the club.  Our coaching team will be there to provide some coach-led racing and answer any questions on the day.  For our more experienced riders it’s another chance to improve your race craft and fine tune race day routines.

Note – All races will be on freewheel bikes, no fixed. This is so all new members who are not yet riding fixed wheel can take part.

Please refer to the website for the age category gearing and ensure the bike is limited to the correct gear https://palmerparkvelo.net/members/for-riders/what-gear-ratios-should-i-have/.  We will be performing gear checks on the day, for our new members we can help with any questions.

As ever, we can’t run these days without volunteers so parents please step-up and get involved (judges, results, holders, gatekeepers, track prep, sign-on and more, oh and don’t forget cakes, plenty of cakes).  Let me know if you can help.
