The first Palmer Park Velo race day of 2017 is going to be held on Saturday March 18th. Sign-on and gear check will run from 8.45-9.15 with racing starting at 9.30 promptly. All riders wishing to take part must register online by Wednesday 15th March using the form on RiderHQ below, there is no entry on the day and you must be a PPV member to take part. There will be a second race day on 1st April.

The day is meant to be a fun, less formal race meet and I encourage all riders to sign-up. The intention is to provide members with experience in race days and prepare them for racing both at PPV club champs and also externally to the club.
We plan to include the same races as this years PPV Omnium. A full race schedule will be published nearer the time.
As ever we will need volunteers to help out on the day, please let me know if you are able to assist. We can’t run this without helping hands 🙂
So that we include all the new members in the club, race day will be freewheel only for all age categories. We have a gear check before racing starts, and it is your responsibility to ensure your bike conforms to the relevant gearing, details on the website. Please ask the coaches this weekend if you have any questions. This will avoid long queues and delays on the day at gear check.
