Calling all Testers!
Entries are now open for the local qualifying round, of the GHS National 10 mile TT championship for youths.
The GHS has qualifying rounds across the country, with the fastest riders in each age (12, 13, 14 etc) and gender, fastest overall, and team, all qualifying for the National final.
The London West District round of the GHS Time Trial Championship is taking place on the HCC234 course (just outside Twyford), on 23 June. Riders will do 2 laps of the 5 mile corse. This is one of the safer open road courses, as the roads are quiet, and riders just turn left at each of the small junctions.
Entries close on 11th June, with no entries on the day. You can enter using the link below.
There are a few things to note:
* Minimum age is 12 and maximum is 16
* Riders race solo. Parents are not allowed to ride in front/alongside/behind
* There are no equipment rules, part from those set by RCTT. Therefore TT bikes are allowed. If you want to run tri-bars, disc wheels etc, then go for it.
Lots of PPV riders usually go, so if this is your first time, there will be plenty of others on the morning to help. If you have any questions please see me.
