Entries for the 2019 Icebreaker track series are now open and filling up fast!
If you have not raced Icebreakers before, they are a series of 3 track events at Newport velodrome, taking place January to March. Open to U12 and above, the event is a mini omnium, with 3 races at each round (scratch, points and elimination).
Icebreakers are hotly contested, with the best riders from around the country coming to get some early season track racing under their belt. They are a great opportunity to get indoor track racing experience before the omnium series, irrespective of your overall result.
Riders must have experience of riding indoors on a 250m track. New riders might be asked to provide details of their indoor experience to the organiser. If you want to take part, but are unsure if you have the required experience please speak to a club coach, who will be able to advise you.
