Dear All

The 2016 PPV club circuit race championship is being held in the afternoon on Saturday 5th November at Hillingdon. Entries are now open, and outline details are below.

The venue is Hillingdon Cycle Circuit (http://hillingdoncyclecircuit.org.uk), a 0.94 mile closed road facility. If you haven’t raced there before it is a great local race circuit with a mix of corners and long straights, and even a short hill!

Timings are still being finalised (as we are speaking with Slipstreamers to make use of the club house early) but we are currently working to the following:

12.30pm Sign-on  and gear check opens
12.45pm Circuit open for riding
1.15pm U8/U10 race (20mins)
1.45pm U12 race (30mins)
2.30pm U14/U16 race (45mins)

All riders will race on freewheel bikes and everyone will be gear checked before hand. If you are intending to borrow a club bike, please make sure it is gear restricted to your age category before hand.

The event is also an inter-club event with local clubs (Hillingdon Slipstreamers, Zappi’s etc), providing a great opportunity to mix with riders from other clubs. Riders from other clubs will be racing with you, and race results will be from all riders taking part. We will then extract the finishing order of PPV riders for the club circuit championships afterwards and publish those results separately. As last year we hope to run an inter-club points competition, with more details on that to follow.

We will need some parent helpers on the day to assist with sign-on, judging, first aid cover, tea/coffee/cakes (and possibly a few other small roles). If you are available, even for part of a day, do please let us know.

Please sign-up using the link below, and if you have any questions do please let us know.
